Hey guys! After almost 2 months of drawing time we have collected 131 entries (71 StarClan and 60 Dark Forest cats).

Now comes the hardest part for me. I'll briefly tell you what I'm going to do.
1) Open a new canvas in Photoshop with the size of about 5000 pixels wide and 2000 pixels tall (yes, that's HUGE)
2) The left side is for the StarClan cats. I'll paint the sky of it purple-blue and add green grass, rocks and a couple of trees.
3) The right side is for Dark Forest. The sky will be either dark green or dark red. The grass will be dark and the trees dead and black.
4) Add more detail, like Stars to the StarClan side and fog to the Dark Forest.
5) Start placing the cats, some on the ground, the others on rocks and on the trees. That's quite tricky, because when copying the cats into the background document, I have to place them all in individual layers. That means: different background layers (foreground/middle/background) AND 131 cats layers. x_x )
6) Add last touches, like grass in front of the cats' paws and stars into the StarClan's pelts.
I'm afraid this will take 2-3 weeks at least so please be patient with me, I want to make it the best possible, thus spend a lot of time on detail work and such. You can see the background I did last year here
I hope that the SC-DF collab background will be even prettier.
