Contest Over! Judging begins shortlyYo guys! Some of you asked for an extension so now the contest ends today (3 days later than planned). We received so many beautiful and clever entries, such amazing crossovers!

Fellow Warriors, Queens, Apprentices, Kits and Elders. Today I am speaking to you, because something entirely new has happened in our lands. The borders to parallel worlds have opened and previously unknown creatures have emitted through portals into our forest. Some of them pretend to be from our kind, others seek nothing but war. They may look like cats but we already saw the demonic ones among them as well, with eagles' wings, wolves' teeth and even StarClan like powers in their paws.
Now, my precious clanmates, strive out into the woods and look for the strangers. Approach them carefully since we do not know which powers they can posses

Fangirl-mode *ON*OHH what do my eyes see? On today's newsfeed I saw that the newest book of Warriors was released TODAY!! It is called Warriors: Dawn of The Clans: The Sun Trail and is from a whole new series that doesn't have much to do with the previous storyline.
What do you think of it?
Even though I personally am already like *cough*too old for a children's book like Warriors I just went completely nuts and ordered it on Amazon, it should be there tomorrow 8D
Comments on Facebook like "Ahh I'm so sure they will screw this up" or "this story is so worn out, I'm tired of it." just make me sad. I mean OK, the last Warriors books weren't as epic as the first series but I have GREAT hopes for the new series, because Erin Hunter actually IS pretty talented and the story still has potential. This is the new official blog with the rules for the claiming. It is important that every member reads and knows these rules so that the claiming thing won't end up in as much chaos as our last attempt to bring order to it.
This is what you do:

1) Be sure that you have a GROUP WIDGET on your profile that displays the groups you are in. Our admins will check back on that. (THIS is how you add a group widget)

Who wants a new contest?Hey fellow Warriors fans! Happy New Year to you all!
How about starting into the new 2013 with a nice Warriors contest? A new book series has been announced for this April as far as I know, so that's really exciting! I think I am SO going to read the new books, especially since they are going to be about the Old Clans, the first Warriors, that sounds extremely promising.
But back to the initial topic, let's have a contest! It won't start right now, we first have to decide on a topic.
My suggestion is a
Warriors Crossover Contest
in which you take human or animal characters from books, movies or video games and make them interact with Warriors.
So for example you could take Harry Potter, draw Harry, Ron and Hermione as cats and imagine what they would do in the Warriors world. Or how about cat-forms for the Avengers? A cat Hulk, cat Captain America and cat Iron Man?
There are no limitations, you could draw them taking over the world, using superpowers or whatever.

This picture got perfect 10 points from almost all judges. We loved it, because, see, Link really interacts with poor Ivypool, bringing all of his Hyrule badass-ness into the Warriors world. Also the expressions are just priceless, a perfect crossover. Congratulations, *Finchwing!

Suggested a long while ago, this theme is pretty self-explanatory.
Cinderpelt and Silverstream aren't the only cats who've had tragedies in their lives. From Broken Shadow's loss of her son Fallen Leaves to the death of Brightsky and her three kits, it seems all warriors have their fair share of pain.
If you'd like to participate with literature**, you are free to do so! But if you choose lit, you're obviously going to have to do a little bit more creative work - perhaps you'll write

You can still sign up for either another StarClan cat (there are still plenty) or a Random Dark Forest Warrior. You can sign up if there are no slots open, but add cats yourself ;D
Please remember: when you are drawing, use more or less correct anatomy. No over-sized head hairfluff or paws that are as big as a tiger's. We want to keep this collab at least semi-realistic. Thank you
Also, you still can add cats to the lists below! Either DEAD cats (members of StarClan) or random Dark Forest cats. Sorry, but living cats like Sandstorm and Cloudtail won't be in the picture.

Hey folks!

Similar to our very first collaboration which can be seen here I am now officially launching a new one!
It will picture the StarClan and Dark Forest cats just before the phenomenal battle that decides the future of the Clans.

Every one of you will get the chance to draw one cat for the collaboration. It should be the cat you get to draw ONLY. You will find a list of cats we MUST have in the collaboration underneath, but you're free to add more suggestions.

- transparent background (for that: save your file as a .png) if possible!
- one side of the canvas should be at least 500 pixels
- please fully colour AND shade the cat. Fur detail is optional.
- please do not add shadows/background/stars because everyone does it differently

The final project will be a big picture with StarClan's hunting grounds on the left, all sparkly and green with a waterfall, and the Dark Forest with mist, fog and crippled trees on the right. The cats face each other and hiss at each other, preparing for the battle.

(Another side note: I know that Ivypool and let's say Beetlewhisker aren't loyal to the Dark Forest. Still on the picture they will be on the Dark Forest's side because they trained there. Maybe you could draw them less aggressive than the others.)
