WoundedEye's destiny - Chapter 6
WoundedEye's destiny is my very first novella, and I'm proud to share it with you guys! English isn't my native language, so please feel free to bring any english mistake to my attention so I can correct it ❤️ I'd also be glad if you guys have things to say about how I write dialogues, because I don't really know the rules to shape them in english (by that I mean where to place " ", where to use -, etc.) And of course please tell me what you think of the story ! I'll post new chapters regularly, there are 8 of them. DirtPaw walked easily between the field’s tall grass, as if these six past moons spent at the farm had never existed. The young male padded determinedly toward his Clan’s camp in the hope of finding a track that would lead him to his clanmates. StarClan had unfortunately not showed him the way his tribe had taken, and with several corn fields around the territory, it was impossible for him to guess in which one his Clan had found shelter. MarshClan’s scent is

Releasing the tension in his muscles, he purred as he let his body embrace the plaid he was laying on. Next to him on the couch, Boris was still sleeping soundly, snoring softly. The young cat stood up to a familiar sound. Boris didn’t need more to awake too, his ears jerked toward the noise. When a female Twolegs entered the living room, a canister in her paw, both toms leaped to the ground and ran toward her

It had been a more than a few days since the she-cat was trying to teach him the hunter’s crouch, but the poor kit couldn’t seem to coordinate his limbs and body as his mentor wanted. He lifted his tail above the grass to

He had been an apprentice for just a few days, and he already felt his life was incredibly complicated. It was so much better to live in the nursery, he thought. No training, no

DirtKit lifted his gaze to the blue sky, admiring the fleecy white clouds in which he took pleasure in finding all kinds of shapes. “You’re still playing to see things in the clouds?” asked a tiny she-cat’s voice. “Don’t you want to play with us, instead?” DirtKit looked at his sister, ShrewKit, who watched him hopefully. Behind her, their brother RabbitKit was already

FrostFlower and OakFang's tragedy - Part 2
The cold wind of winter was blowing so hard outside that it could penetrate the nursery, where the kittens were pressing themselves against their mother in a vain attempt to warm themselves up. DoveKit grunted, puffing his long white fur up to try to protect himself. “Mommy, I’m cold!” he whined. FrostFlower licked her son’s head tenderly, putting her tail around her three children. She glanced towards the outside desperately, where large snowflakes were falling to the ground and forming a thick layer on the ground. She lowered her head to her daughters, who were remaining calm and quiet. WaterKit had her muzzle shoved into the queen’s pelt and seemed to be quite healthy. But IceKit, on the other hand, had her fur dull and her eyes seemed to see nothing. Her little ribs were perfectly visible under her skin while her breathing was weak and whistling. “Try to drink some milk, sweetie,” her mother encouraged while placing her close to her teats. The kitten raised her eyes to

FrostFlower and OakFang's tragedy - Part 1
This is the first part of a small story I added at the end of my book, that explains why is FrostFlower such a protective mom to CedarKit and GoldenKit when Colza first arrives in the clan. I translated it from the french version so, if you notice any mistake or weird sentence, feel free to tell me in the comments :) Enjoy ! ______________________________________________________________________ “They’re beautiful, my love.” FrostFlower looked up to her mate, tears forming in the corner of her eyes. OakFang was crying too, his gaze stuck on the three little furballs pressed against the she-cat’s warm belly. She was out of breath and exhausted, but from her throat was echoing a loud purr. “How are we going to name them?” the male asked. The young mother closed her eyes for a moment, thinking, and opened them again to look at her kittens. One of the females had a similar pelt to hers, white with large grey spots, and the other one had a solid cinder colored fur. The third kit, a
